Travis Scott Faces Yacht Crew Lawsuit

What the yacht crew alleges happened

The captain claims Scott then ordered him to steer the yacht to a nearby marina. Once there, the suit says Scott suddenly jumped from the boat onto a dock, leaving his guests on board for about 30 minutes.

When Scott returned, the captain says he was angry and confrontational. The captain claims he decided to end the charter because of Scott’s conduct and told everyone they needed to leave the vessel.

That is when the plaintiffs say the incident became physical. The lawsuit alleges Scott attacked the captain, threatened to kill him and told him he was “dead.” The captain says one of Scott’s own security guards initially intervened to calm the situation, but Scott allegedly fired the guard on the spot.

Workers say the confrontation spread at the marina

The complaint says additional marina workers came over to help and were also pulled into the confrontation. They allege Scott assaulted multiple workers as they tried to leave the yacht.

According to the suit, Scott then charged back toward them and drove his shoulder into two crew members. One woman was allegedly knocked into a table and injured.

The plaintiffs also claim Scott prevented workers from leaving the boat until police removed him. They are seeking damages and have brought claims including:

Assault
False imprisonment
Other related civil claims

Criminal charges were previously dropped

Scott was arrested after the Miami incident in 2024. Prosecutors later dropped the disorderly intoxication and trespassing charges connected to the arrest.

That decision ended the criminal case, but it did not prevent the yacht workers from filing a civil lawsuit. The new case puts the dispute in civil court, where the plaintiffs are seeking financial damages rather than criminal penalties.

TMZ said it contacted Scott’s representatives for comment and had not received a response at the time of publication.
