The shift also comes as Hilton continues to balance her celebrity image with a very visible family life. She is mom to Phoenix, 3, and London, 2, with husband Carter Reum.
In an interview with E! News published April 10, Hilton talked about beauty in practical terms, especially when it comes to summer confidence.
"Especially in the summertime, it's all about feeling your best,” she said. “And when you feel and look good, you just feel more confident, especially if you're taking care of your hair.”
It is a simple point, but a useful one: for Hilton, the glamour is not only about the finished photo. It is also about maintenance, planning and, presumably, a stylist who knows when to put the hot tools down.
What has Hilton said about hair care?
Hilton said moisture and careful styling are central to keeping her hair healthy.
"One thing that I've learned is that it's so important to keep your hair moisturized,” she explained, “and also to have a stylist that really knows how to work with your hair and not use too much heat on it."
She has also been open about the work behind her blonde look, even when the goal is to make it appear effortless.
"And for being blonde as well, just finding a color that's customized for you and your skin tone and your vibe, and just the moment you're in,” she continued. “And blonde looks effortless but there is so much artistry behind it.”
That context makes the brunette change feel less like a random switch and more like another carefully chosen version of Hilton’s image. The color may be new, but the control over the presentation is very familiar.
What is Paris Hilton’s beauty routine?
Hair is not the only beauty topic Hilton has discussed publicly. The Paris in Love star has also spoken about her anti-aging routine, including what she says she has avoided.
“I feel really proud that I'm all natural,” she said on the Zach Sang Show podcast in 2024. “I’ve stayed out of the sun. I’ve never done any Botox, injectables, no surgery, nothing.”
Hilton also described the at-home spa she built, because apparently a sheet mask and a bathroom candle were not going to cover the brief.
“I’ve also built a spa in my house called the Sliving Spa,” she said. “It has the most epic LED lights, hydrafacial machines, hyperbaric chamber, cryotherapy. It’s basically a real spa that you would see.”
She added that “the plan” is to “sliv forever,” explaining, “My husband is like, ‘Forever is not long enough, so we need the Sliving Spa at the house.’”
For now, the latest chapter is brunette, glossy and very much staged for maximum notice. Hilton may change the color, but the instinct for a memorable entrance remains intact.
