At the time, she told fans: “I’ve been up early at the doctors so she could do some bloods – and because my veins are so bad. They had three attempts. They could only fill two tubes up, so I’ve got to go back in two weeks.”
She added: “The reason I’m going to the doctors is because I keep losing weight, and I don’t know why. So that’s that.”
The health questions continued into January. Speaking on an episode of The Katie Price Show, the Mucky Mansion star said there was “obviously something wrong” with her.
Price said she was eating plenty but still struggling to gain weight, and acknowledged that she looked “gaunt”.
She said Dubai helped her gain weight
By February, Price said things had shifted while she was in Dubai with Andrews, whom she described as “a feeder”.
In a social media video, she said: “I’ve actually put on half a stone. So it goes to show, that when you’re happy…”
Turning to Andrews after saying she “can’t stop eating”, she asked for his view. The businessman replied: “You eat a lot.”
Price answered: “I’m just comfy.”
The update lands during another busy stretch for Price, whose private life and public posts continue to draw scrutiny. Last month, she received her seventh driving ban.
Her cosmetic work has also been under the spotlight
Price has had multiple cosmetic procedures over the years, at an estimated cost of more than £100,000. Those procedures have included six face lifts, 17 breast augmentations, three Brazilian Butt Lifts, dental work and a fox eye procedure.
Last month in Dubai, she also had “butterfly” lip tweakments, but later complained about the result in her vlog.
Her friend Ben told her she needed to “pack it in” when it came to further surgery and learn to love herself.
Price replied: “But that is not exactly surgery, that is fixing a problem.”
She also said her lips looked “wonky” and “like a cat’s bum hole”. A medical aesthetic review, but not one likely to appear on a clinic brochure.
Price continued: “I do [love myself] I am the best person ever inside, I just don’t like what I look like.”
Fans have also questioned her CBD promotion in Dubai
Price was recently accused by fans of acting as though “the rules don’t apply to her” after promoting banned products while in Dubai, where Andrews lives.
She has been pushing a partnership with CBD oil brand Supreme to her 2.7 million Instagram followers, encouraging purchases and sharing a discount code.
CBD, or cannabidiol, is strictly illegal for consumer use in the United Arab Emirates. The country has a zero-tolerance policy on possession, sale and use, including products prescribed medically in other countries.
Even trace amounts of CBD in items such as e-cigarette refills, gummies or skincare products can lead to criminal prosecution. In the UAE, CBD is classified as a narcotic substance, with penalties including fines from AED 20,000 to AED 100,000, roughly £4,000 to £20,000, three-month prison sentences and deportation for non-citizens.
For now, Price’s latest message is focused on her health, and on reassuring followers that she has regained weight after months of public concern.
