Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Hit Paris

CelebrityWill Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Hit Paris

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are still defining their relationship on their own terms, and this week that meant a family dinner in Paris with linked arms included.

The two stepped out on June 22 with their son Jaden Smith, joining friends at Loulou restaurant during Paris Fashion Week. For a pair whose marriage has been publicly picked apart for years, the outing felt like a quieter update: family first, labels later.

What happened during the Paris outing?

Smith, 57, and Pinkett Smith, 54, were photographed walking arm-in-arm after dinner with Jaden, 27. The group’s stop at Loulou put them in one of the city’s more visible Fashion Week settings, because apparently even dinner can become a runway-adjacent event if enough cameras are nearby.

Their looks stayed polished but not especially theatrical:

  • Will wore a patterned collared Amiri shirt with tan trousers and a white baseball cap.
  • Jada chose Louis Vuitton printed jeans, a black cardigan, and a white tank top.
  • Jaden kept things casual in an oversized black T-shirt, cropped dark gray jeans, and leather mules.

The sighting drew attention less because of the clothes than because of the ongoing public interest in Will and Jada’s unusual post-separation dynamic.

Why Paris has become part of the family story

This was not the family’s first Paris appearance since Will and Jada confirmed they had separated years earlier.

In January, the Oscar-winning actor and the Red Table Talk host were also in the French capital to support Jaden as he debuted his first collection as the men’s creative director of Christian Louboutin. That moment carried a different kind of family significance: two famous parents showing up for their son’s professional milestone, with all the attention that comes attached to being part of the Smith family.

Will and Jada also share daughter Willow Smith, 25. Their recent public appearances have often suggested that, whatever their marital status looks like on paper, family remains central to how they present themselves.

Where Will and Jada stand now

Jada revealed in 2023 that she and Will had quietly separated in 2016, years before the public knew. Even so, she has said they do not plan to divorce.

“I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce,” she told NBC News in 2023. “We will work through whatever, and I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”

That promise helps explain why the pair continue to appear together despite being in a relationship that does not fit neatly into standard categories.

Jada also told People that same year that she and Will were still working through what their bond should look like.

“We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together,” she said. “We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”

The family piece remains the constant

For Jada, their children appear to be the emotional center of the arrangement. Speaking about Jaden and Willow, she described the impact of the love they show both parents.

“The level of love, unconditional love that they have for me and their dad,” she said. “And it’s one thing to want to be the person that gives that unconditional love. And then there’s being the person who receives it.”

That context is why a photographed dinner in Paris lands as more than a celebrity sighting. It is another public glimpse of a family that has chosen to keep showing up together, even as Will and Jada continue to define the fine print themselves.
