The fashion was, unsurprisingly, not pulled together at the last minute. Swift and Kelce wore Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewellery.
Fans waited outside for a glimpse
Swift and Kelce’s relationship has drawn intense attention since they began dating in 2023. That attention did not exactly cool off for the wedding.
Thousands of Swift fans, widely known as Swifties, gathered outside Madison Square Garden in punishing heat, hoping to see something, anything, from the festivities. The event itself was kept almost entirely hidden, but many fans still came to offer support from the pavement.
Lori Powers, who lives about an hour north of Manhattan and took the train into the city, told The Associated Press that Swift’s “music is the soundtrack behind so many amazing moments in my life. Relationships, friends, like my husband and my kids.”
Lynn Mahoney of New Jersey told Reuters, “I wish them a lifetime of happiness. I can’t wait till they have kids. I can’t wait to see the wedding photos and everyone who’s in here today, this evening. I know it’s exciting.”
For many outside, the wedding was less about access than attachment. Swift has built a career on turning private feeling into public language, and her audience has a long memory for that kind of thing.
Which celebrities attended the wedding
Inside the arena, the guest list spanned film, music, fashion, literature and American football.

Despite the scale of the venue and the celebrity turnout, almost nothing from inside the ceremony appeared online during the event. No social media posts from inside the arena surfaced, and phones were reportedly banned.
That level of control would stand out at any celebrity wedding, but especially one involving Swift, whose public appearances are often dissected within minutes. The secrecy also matched the months of guarded planning that preceded the ceremony.
