The Sexyy Red lawsuit now tied to a Florida mansion burglary centers on a very expensive claim: the rapper says handbags, jewelry, and watches worth at least $500,000 disappeared during a birthday retreat she hosted for her mother in January 2025.
According to a court filing obtained by TMZ, Sexyy Red says she rented a mansion in Florida for the celebration and hired security to protect the property during the event. She alleges that the security arrangement failed when a door was left unlocked.
What Sexyy Red says happened at the Florida rental
The filing says the burglary took place on January 12, 2025. Sexyy Red claims a single masked person entered the mansion through an unlocked door and stole a large collection of personal property.
The items listed in the suit include:
- Necklaces
- Charms
- Rings
- Bracelets
- Watches
- Designer handbags
The total value, according to the complaint, was no less than $500,000. That is not a small accounting dispute. It is the kind of missing-property claim that tends to move quickly from “bad weekend” to “see you in court.”
