Sexyy Red Lawsuit Claims $500K Theft

Why the security guard is part of the case

Sexyy Red alleges Thompson was the last person to leave the property before the burglary occurred. On that basis, she is seeking more than $500,000 in damages from him.

The lawsuit does not just allege a theft. It argues that the person hired to secure the premises failed to do so, and that the failure directly allowed the burglary to occur. That matters because the case is about responsibility, not just whether the items were stolen.

The filing, as described by TMZ, frames the unlocked door as the central issue. If proven, it could support Sexyy Red’s claim that the security team did not meet its obligations. If the unlocked-door claim is disputed, the case may come down to records, testimony, and evidence about who left the property, when they left, and what was checked before departure.

The dispute started with Thompson’s pay claim

The burglary claim is not the first legal move in this dispute. Thompson sued Sexyy Red and other members of her team in August 2025.

In his suit, Thompson alleged he had been hired in May 2023 as Sexyy Red’s personal security guard for $180,000 per year. He said he worked for her until December 2024 and was paid $204,000, but claimed he should have received $285,000.

That left, by his calculation, an unpaid balance of $81,000. He sued to recover it.

Sexyy Red denies that she underpaid him. Her current filing is a countersuit, and it shifts the focus from wages to the January 2025 burglary. The case is still ongoing, so neither side’s allegations have been decided in court.
