Zac Brown and Kendra Scott are married, multiple outlets report, after a private wedding ceremony in Greece on May 25. For Brown, the Zac Brown Band frontman many listeners know as the voice behind “Chicken Fried,” it marks a new chapter with the jewelry designer after a relationship that moved fairly quickly, and not quietly.
E! News reported that it had contacted representatives for both Brown and Scott for additional comment, but had not received a response.
How their relationship became public
Brown, 47, and Scott, 52, first made their relationship public at the 2025 American Music Awards in May of last year. Two months later, they were engaged, after what Brown later described as a proposal that was not exactly subtle.
“We were actually on a river,” he told Fox News Digital in an October interview. “And on a barge with 30 elephants on the bank and the sun setting and birds flying over and hippos in the water. And I got it good.”
Brown did not say where the wildlife-heavy proposal took place, which is perhaps fair. Some locations do not need the extra traffic.
