Shots were reportedly fired outside Chris Brown’s Los Angeles home on Friday afternoon, but police say the singer was not the person arrested and the incident did not involve him.
According to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, officers were called to Brown’s house in Tarzana at around 4 PM on May 1 after a female caller reported a possible shooting outside the property.
What police were told
The caller said a shooting had just taken place and described the suspect as a Black man, approximately 35 years old. She alleged that he fired at her vehicle during the confrontation.
In dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, authorities can be heard sending officers to the Tarzana address and relaying a description of what the suspect was wearing at the time.
When officers arrived, they interviewed both people involved. Law enforcement sources told the outlet that the male suspect claimed the woman had refused to leave the area, which led to an argument.
