The former couple share two children

Grace and Bushnell previously welcomed their first child, a son, in 2020. He was 4 years old when the divorce filing was made.

The court documents also revealed that the former couple share a second child, a daughter named Fiona, who was 1 at the time of the filing.

According to Page Six, the documents state that both parents share decision-making responsibilities for major matters involving the children, including:

• Schooling
• Healthcare
• Extracurricular activities

Grace was granted primary custody of both children. Bushnell was granted weekend custody of their son, and the arrangement is set to extend to weekend custody of their daughter once she reaches age 3 and a half.

The co-parents also agreed to divide holidays. The order gives Grace the option to spend some weekends with the children, while Bushnell may ask Grace to care for them during his parenting time if he is out of town for work.

How Grace and Bushnell’s relationship became public

Grace and Bushnell got engaged in February 2017. At the time, the “Suits LA” actress shared the news on Instagram with a photo of the two in a canoe.

“The strongest and sweetest songs yet remain to be sung (Whitman),” she wrote in the caption.

Around the same time, Grace also posted a photo of Bushnell at the Los Angeles Women’s March, writing, “WHAT A MAN #StrongMenSupportStrong.”

Before her marriage to Bushnell, Grace was engaged to filmmaker Matthew Cooke. In 2015, she showed off an engagement ring from Cooke at the Global Green USA pre-Oscar party.

Grace is widely known for roles in “Lost,” “Taken,” “Californication” and “Suits LA.” Bushnell is a technology and entertainment entrepreneur. Their divorce now moves from private paperwork into the public record, which is usually how celebrity privacy meets the filing cabinet.
