Still, reports suggest the band could play six concerts at Knebworth over three weeks in September 2027. That would take Oasis back to the site of their two enormous 1996 performances, which became defining events of the Britpop era and a reliable source of nostalgic footage ever since.
A reported Manchester residency may come first. An unnamed source told The Sun that the current plan includes 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across six weeks, beginning in June.
“Oasis’ schedule is booked,” the source claimed. “It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June.”
The source added that six Knebworth dates would follow in September, while leaving open the possibility of further shows. Representatives for Oasis have been contacted for comment, and no dates have been officially announced.
Why Glastonbury appears to be off the schedule
While Liam seems enthusiastic about more concerts, he has been considerably less welcoming toward speculation about Glastonbury. Oasis may be bookmakers’ favourites to headline the festival in 2027, but the singer has said it is not happening.
Responding to a fan on X, he wrote: “It’s not happening. So all you croc wearing, flag waving, st c****s can calm the fk down.” Subtle public relations work remains optional in the Gallagher household.
He separately promised that if Oasis performed more shows, they were “gonna lick it up to ras,” although that statement did not provide much assistance to anyone trying to assemble an itinerary.
Oasis previously headlined Glastonbury in 1995 and 2004. Liam also rejected the prospect of another Pyramid Stage appearance last year, replying “Hope not” when asked about it online.
He later said he preferred the festival’s smaller stages and tents, before describing the main-stage crowd as “a load of jamboree teachers.” Noel has hardly rushed to defend the event. Earlier in 2026, he criticised Glastonbury for “virtue-signalling” and said it had become “a bit woke” and “preachy.”
Noel nevertheless performed at Worthy Farm with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in 2022.

Before any possible 2027 concerts, fans will get a closer look at the band’s reunion through the documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger.
The film is due to premiere at the Venice Film Festival, with Liam and Noel expected to attend. It will then arrive in cinemas on September 9 and stream on Disney Plus.
The documentary follows the brothers during the Oasis Live ’25 tour, which began in Cardiff in July 2025. According to Disney Plus, it will cover the “triumphant reunion tour” from rehearsals through backstage preparations and the performances themselves.
It will also feature the first joint interviews with Liam and Noel in more than 20 years, offering the unusual sight of both brothers answering questions in the same place without immediately ending the enterprise.

The venues are being discussed, the reported schedule is remarkably specific, and one Gallagher is publicly asking the other to announce it.
