Fans who survived the vast online queues for Oasis Live ’25 may soon be invited to do it all again. Rumored Oasis 2027 tour dates include an extended run in Manchester and six concerts at Knebworth, although the band has not officially confirmed any new shows or ticket-sale plans.
The reports follow a reunion tour that became one of the most sought-after live events in recent memory. Announced in 2024, Oasis Live ’25 brought Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher back together after years of public tension and a band split that had lasted since 2009.
The tour ultimately covered 41 shows in 14 countries across five continents, including major dates at Wembley Stadium in London and Heaton Park in Manchester. For audiences who had spent years assuming an Oasis reunion was unlikely, the concerts carried more emotional weight than the usual stadium production. They also produced ticket queues large enough to test that goodwill rather thoroughly.
Where could Oasis play in 2027?
According to a report from The Sun, Oasis are planning a 12-night residency at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium. The proposed run would take place across six weeks beginning in June 2027.
“Dates could be added, but for now that’s the master plan,” an unnamed source told the newspaper.
The band would then reportedly move to Knebworth for six concerts spread across three weeks. That venue has particular importance in Oasis history: the group played two enormous shows there in August 1996, at the height of their commercial success.
The possibility gained some practical support when the BBC reported that SJM Concerts, promoter of the reunion tour, had secured a licence to stage events at Knebworth. That does not amount to an Oasis announcement, but it does mean the site is available for large concerts. Convenient, certainly. Conclusive, not quite.
A source told The Sun that 2.6 million people applied for tickets to the 1996 Knebworth shows, describing it as the greatest demand for concert tickets in British music history at the time. The source claimed Oasis Live ’25 later exceeded that level of interest and said the proposed 2027 run would make Oasis “the only act to have played Knebworth six times.”
Was a second Oasis tour always planned?
The same report claims Noel and Liam had intended the reunion to continue beyond its first run.
“Noel and Liam always planned for the tour to have a second run,” a source said.
There were reportedly discussions about revealing the next concerts during the 2026 World Cup, partly because of the association between “Wonderwall” and England supporters. The band apparently decided to leave some distance between the end of the tournament and any formal announcement.
The reunion itself marked a significant change after Oasis broke up in 2009 amid the brothers’ deteriorating relationship. Their disagreements had become nearly as visible as the music, so simply completing a global tour together counted as progress. The commercial response then made further dates an obvious possibility.
There is also speculation that Oasis could headline Glastonbury Festival in 2027. The newly reported UK dates have shortened their odds with bookmakers, but there has been no confirmation from either the band or festival organizers. At this stage, it remains another attractive theory attached to a very large rumor.
When might Oasis 2027 tickets go on sale?
No official ticket-sale date has been announced. The report says the band settled on August 2026 for a possible tour reveal, with the source explaining: “It’ll give the country something to shout about, whether we’re celebrating or commiserating.”
August 10 is an obvious date for fans to watch because it marks the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ first Knebworth concert. However, neither Oasis nor their representatives have said that an announcement will arrive on that date.
Anyone interested in the potential shows will need to monitor the band’s official channels and authorized ticket sellers. Given the previous sale, caution would also be sensible.
When Oasis Live ’25 tickets were released, some buyers faced online queues containing more than 500,000 people. Scams and sharply inflated resale listings followed, while fans also complained about the price of tickets appearing on secondary platforms.
The controversy became large enough to draw a response from Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who said the situation was “not fair” after buyers encountered extremely high resale prices.
If the 2027 concerts are confirmed, demand is unlikely to be modest. For now, though, the reported Etihad Stadium and Knebworth dates remain unconfirmed, and talk of tickets going on sale within days is still speculation rather than an official timetable.
