WNBA guard Lexie Brown is making one thing plain before her season starts: she says she is not part of the breakup drama surrounding Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion.
Brown, 31, addressed the speculation on Instagram Stories on April 26 after Megan publicly confirmed that she had ended her relationship with Thompson and accused him of being unfaithful.

Brown, a guard for the Seattle Storm, denied rumors that she was romantically involved with Thompson, the Dallas Mavericks player whose relationship with Megan had become a public story over the previous 24 hours.
"I've seen what's being said online," Brown wrote on Instagram Stories. "And I want to be clear, none of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation."
She also made clear that her attention is on basketball, not the social-media churn around another couple’s split.
"This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me," she added, "and my focus is fully on that."
The timing matters. The WNBA season is set to begin at the start of May, and for players, training camp and roster movement are already enough of a pressure cooker without a celebrity rumor cycle joining the schedule.
Megan Thee Stallion confirms the breakup
Brown’s post came one day after Megan Thee Stallion confirmed to E! News on April 25 that she and Thompson had broken up.
"I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," the Grammy-winning rapper said. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward."
Megan, 31, said she was now turning her attention inward.
"I'm taking this time to prioritize myself," she said, "and move ahead with peace and clarity."
The confirmation followed a more pointed Instagram Stories post earlier that day, in which Megan appeared to call out Thompson directly.
"Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house... got 'cold feet,'" she wrote. "Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'????"
She ended the message with: "B---h I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall."
Megan and Thompson began dating last summer, putting the relationship at the intersection of two very visible worlds: the NBA spotlight and Megan’s own music, fashion, and now Broadway schedule.

That same evening, Megan appeared as Zidler in Moulin Rouge!, continuing her eight-week run in the Tony-winning Broadway musical.
In video shared on social media from the curtain call, the "Mamushi" artist could be seen tearing up onstage as the audience cheered loudly in support. Background dancers also appeared to offer quiet encouragement, nodding behind her before she turned back to the crowd for a final bow.
It was a very public night after a very public breakup, which is about as restful as Broadway gets, meaning not at all.
For now, Brown has drawn her boundary, Megan has confirmed the split, and Thompson has not been quoted in the public statements described here. The rumor mill may keep moving, but Brown’s message was direct: she says she is not involved.
