Katy Perry’s dig at exes became part of the show Thursday night in Spain, where the singer turned a giant fake phone into a public contacts list. Subtlety, apparently, was not on the production rider.

Perry was headlining the O Son do Camiño festival in Santiago de Compostela when a large iPhone-style screen appeared to receive a string of fake calls, according to video circulating on social media.
The moment came as she performed her 2020 track “Never Really Over,” a song already built for dramatic emotional unpacking. The on-screen contacts included Diplo, along with initials that seemed aimed at other former partners: “JM,” widely read as John Mayer, “RB,” believed to refer to Russell Brand, and “OB,” a fairly direct nod to Orlando Bloom.
Perry played along by miming that she was ignoring the calls from her romantic past. The one she answered was labeled “JPJT,” initials for Justin Pierre James Trudeau, better known in this particular context as Justin Trudeau, the former Prime Minister of Canada and Perry’s current boyfriend.
Why Orlando Bloom was the obvious target
The “OB” call registered because Perry and Bloom’s relationship has been one of her most closely followed. The pop star, 41, and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor, 49, first sparked romance rumors in 2016 after meeting at a Golden Globes afterparty.
They dated before taking a short break in 2017, then reunited the following year. Bloom proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2019, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, in August 2020.
In June 2025, Page Six reported that Perry and Bloom had split amicably after nearly 10 years together. Since then, they have continued co-parenting Daisy. Bloom also shares a 15-year-old son, Flynn, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
