Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez Kiss in Miami

CelebrityJessica Alba and Danny Ramirez Kiss in Miami

Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez are not exactly hiding the affection. The actress and entrepreneur, 45, and the Top Gun: Maverick actor, 33, were photographed together during a beach outing in Miami on May 25, where they kissed, embraced and spent time in the water.

It was a very public moment for a relationship Alba has been trying to handle with a little more control than celebrity life usually allows. Which, admittedly, is a modest goal when everyone within 20 feet has a phone.

What happened during the Miami beach outing

Alba and Ramirez spent the day in the Florida sun, where they were seen sharing a kiss and holding each other as they splashed in the ocean. The photos quickly drew attention because the pair have kept their romance relatively low-key since they were first linked in July 2025.

Alba also shared pieces of the weekend herself on Instagram on May 27. Her post included several snapshots from the trip, among them a beach drink photo and a selfie showing Ramirez kissing her.

The Instagram post matters here because Alba has been clear that, while she cannot stop people from watching, filming or speculating, she can at least decide what parts of her life she chooses to share herself.

How this fits into Alba’s life after divorce

The relationship comes after a major personal shift for Alba. She and Cash Warren filed for divorce in February 2025 after 16 years of marriage. The former couple share three children: Honor, 17, Haven, 14, and Hayes, 8.

Alba and Warren had long been one of Hollywood’s more familiar family units, so the divorce naturally drew public attention. Her relationship with Ramirez, first reported months later, has added another layer of interest, not only because both are recognizable actors, but because her relationship with Ramirez began after a very public long-term marriage.

For audiences, that is part of why the story lands. It is not just another beach photo cycle. It is a woman who has spent years being watched, now trying to figure out how much of a new chapter she wants to let people see.

What Alba said about privacy and being watched

In an Elle interview published May 27, Alba spoke directly about the strange reality of trying to have a private life in public.

“I can’t control [that] everyone has a camera now and the ability to [record] you,” she said. “You kind of feel like you’re in the zoo when you’re out in the wild.”

She said the one thing she can do is “control the narrative as much as possible through” her own social media accounts. Even if those platforms are “edited and curated,” Alba said they feel more manageable than outside interpretations.

“For Jessica, “it just feels less chaotic than other people’s versions of who I might be that don’t know me,” she said.

She also pushed back against letting public opinion take up too much space.

“You also just can’t care so much about exterior people who don't know you deeply or care for you deeply,” Alba added. “You have to take everything with a grain of salt, the ups and the downs of people’s perceptions.”

How her view of love has changed

Alba also reflected on how her understanding of love has shifted with age and experience.

“It’s not always a movie or a rom-com,” she said. “Sometimes love is just sitting there when someone’s not feeling well and rubbing their head, or just allowing someone to rage and giving them space. But still being there and knowing that nothing they can do can push you away.”

It is a grounded view from someone whose personal life has often been framed through glossy photos and red-carpet shorthand. The Miami images show the public-facing version: sun, ocean, kissing. Alba’s comments fill in the more human part, which is less tidy and probably more recognizable.

For now, Alba appears to be sharing what she wants, when she wants, while accepting that the rest of the internet will do what it does. Not exactly peace and quiet, but in celebrity terms, close enough.
