Ciara Pregnant With Baby No. 5

CelebrityCiara Pregnant With Baby No. 5

Ciara is pregnant with baby No. 5, her fourth child with retired NFL quarterback Russell Wilson. The couple announced the pregnancy on Instagram on September 6, confirming that Wilson’s long-running campaign for “Baby Cinco” has apparently cleared the relevant household committees.

The 40-year-old singer and Wilson, 37, have not disclosed the baby’s due date, sex or name. Their new arrival will join Future Zahir, Sienna Princess, Win Harrison and Amora Princess.

How Ciara and Russell Wilson announced the pregnancy

The couple revealed the news with an outdoor photo and video shoot featuring four shirts hanging from a clothesline. Each carried the name of one of their children: Future, Sienna, Win and Amora.

A fifth item, a blank baby onesie, completed the display. Ciara captioned the post, “One more person to Love,” while Wilson responded, “Baby Cinco!” The empty onesie suggested that either the name remains undecided or the family is sensibly keeping at least one detail away from the internet.

Friends and fans filled the comments with congratulations. La La Anthony wrote, “Another beautiful blessing!!!” and said she was already “making space over at Auntie La’s house.”

This will be Ciara’s fifth child and Wilson’s fourth biological child. Their family includes:

  • Future Zahir, born in May 2014, from Ciara’s previous relationship with rapper Future
  • Sienna Princess, born in April 2017
  • Win Harrison, born in July 2020
  • Amora Princess, born in December 2023

Those birth dates make the children 12, 9, 6 and 2 respectively at the time of the announcement.

Russell Wilson had been asking about a fifth child

The pregnancy news arrived less than two months after Wilson publicly discussed expanding the family at Fanatics Fest in July.

“We have four amazing kids and I’m trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth,” he told E! News. “Cinco, you got to be on the way soon.”

Wilson added that both of them wanted five children, although his repeated references to persuasion made it sound as if negotiations were still active. Ciara had previously said he raised the subject shortly after Amora’s birth, recalling: “He was like shortly after, ‘So cinco?’”

The announcement confirms they ultimately agreed, though presumably not because Wilson mentioned it often enough on camera.

Their family has grown throughout their marriage

Ciara and Wilson married in July 2016 and celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in July 2026. Sienna arrived the following April, with Win and Amora joining the family in 2020 and 2023.

Wilson has also spoken about embracing his role as stepfather to Future Zahir. Recalling his decision to become part of the child’s life, he said, “I’m gonna take this responsibility as well.”

Ciara has repeatedly praised his approach to parenting. In a June interview, she called watching Wilson care for their children “the sexiest thing about him.” She described him as “Superman to us in the house” and said the children all wanted his attention.

“He has the biggest heart,” she added. “We don’t have to worry for nothing, which is a blessing.”

A new baby arrives during Wilson’s career change

The latest family expansion comes as Wilson moves from professional football into broadcasting. He retired in June after 14 NFL seasons and is beginning the 2026 season as an analyst on CBS’s The NFL Today.

His playing career included 10 Pro Bowl selections, 46,966 passing yards, 353 touchdown passes and a Super Bowl XLVIII championship, according to CBS Sports. The new role should offer fewer tackles, although a household with five children may not qualify as a quieter assignment.

For now, the couple has shared no further details about the pregnancy. The blank onesie remains blank, and the arrival date remains private.
