Twitch star Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has shared security footage from outside her home after multiple gunshots were heard in the street, prompting her to take cover and tell followers she was safe.
Siragusa, one of streaming’s most recognisable figures with millions of followers across dozens of platforms, has repeatedly dealt with the darker side of online fame. She has previously spoken about stalkers, including one person who travelled from Estonia in an attempt to meet her, and her home was targeted in a 2025 break-in involving masked intruders who allegedly tried to steal money and cryptocurrency.
Gunfire reported outside Amouranth’s home
On May 5, Siragusa posted on X that there was “lots of gunfire outside right now.”
A few minutes later, she updated fans again, writing that she was “barricaded down and safe for now.”
Hours after the posts, Siragusa and her husband, Nick Lee, shared security footage from outside the property. The video showed a hooded figure walking along the street at around 2:30 AM.
Roughly eight minutes later, gunshots could be heard while the person was no longer visible in the frame. More shots followed shortly after.
By 2:42 AM, the hooded figure appeared again, this time walking in the opposite direction. It remains unclear whether the person seen in the footage had any connection to the shooting or was simply passing through the area.
Lee wrote on X: “He shot like 9-10 times.”
Siragusa added: “Wild behavior. No cap.”
It is not yet clear whether she was targeted
At this stage, there has been no confirmation that Siragusa’s home was the intended target of the gunfire.
The uncertainty matters because her address and wealth have previously made her a target. In the 2025 incident, multiple armed intruders broke into her home in an apparent attempt to steal cash and crypto. Lee later said he fired at the invaders, forcing them to flee.
During a Kick stream on May 5, Lee said someone was looking into the latest shooting. He also said this was not the first time multiple shots had been fired in the area.
For creators with Amouranth’s level of visibility, the boundary between online celebrity and real-world risk can be uncomfortably thin. In this case, the immediate update is simple: Siragusa said she got to safety, footage has been shared, and the circumstances of the shooting remain under review.
