Online influencer Clavicular has been charged with rape in Massachusetts, along with allegedly drugging a person for sex and supplying alcohol to a minor. The charges reportedly stem from an incident in May 2025 that appears to overlap with claims made in a separate civil lawsuit.

The alleged victim in the criminal case has not been publicly identified. However, details reported by The Bulwark closely resemble allegations made by influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, who sued Clavicular earlier in 2026.

What charges does Clavicular face?

The criminal case includes three serious allegations:

  • One count of rape
  • Drugging a person for sexual intercourse
  • Providing alcohol to a minor

Authorities have linked all three charges to the same alleged incident in May 2025. Public reporting has not confirmed whether Mendoza is the complainant in the criminal matter, so the apparent connection remains just that: apparent.

Mendoza alleges Clavicular paid her $1,000 to record videos for him when she was 16. According to her lawsuit, he wanted her to become the female face of “looksmaxxing,” an online trend focused on changing or optimizing physical appearance.

She says they met at a house in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where large amounts of alcohol were served. Mendoza claims she became heavily intoxicated and was unable to consent when Clavicular had sex with her. She further alleges that she woke the following morning to find him having sex with her again without her consent.

Massachusetts sets the age of consent at 16. As a result, Clavicular is not facing child sex charges, though prosecutors have charged him with providing alcohol to a minor.

How has Clavicular responded?

A representative for Clavicular questioned the timing and development of Mendoza’s civil complaint.

“She filed a lawsuit and doesn’t include sexual assault as a count. She then amends it and adds it a couple of months later,” the representative said.

The spokesperson added, “She and her lawyer then go to police.”

People close to Clavicular characterized the allegations as an attempted shakedown and said his side “will be fighting this till the end.” They also claim the influencer has evidence that contradicts Mendoza’s account. No details about that evidence were provided.

The existence of a dispute, of course, does not settle either the criminal charges or the civil claims. Those matters now sit in separate legal channels, each with its own standards and procedures.

What did his attorney say about the lawsuit?

When Mendoza initially filed the civil case, Clavicular’s attorney, Steve Kramer, stressed that the claims had not been proven.

“We are aware of the complaint recently filed against Mr. Peters [Clavicular],” Kramer said. “These are allegations only and remain unproven. Mr. Peters denies the claims and disputes the characterization of events. He will respond through the appropriate legal channels and intends to vigorously defend himself. We will not comment further at this time.”

Clavicular is now contesting the civil lawsuit while also facing the newly reported criminal prosecution. The available reporting does not specify his next court date or whether he has entered a plea.
