Orlando Bloom and Luisa Laemmel were photographed sharing an affectionate beach day in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, adding another public sighting to a relationship that neither has formally confirmed.
Images published on July 28 showed Bloom, 49, and Laemmel, 28, swimming together at Alpemare Beach Club. The actor wore black swim trunks while the Swiss model chose a matching black swimsuit. They laughed, embraced and played in the water, with Laemmel briefly dunking Bloom before he resurfaced smiling.
ComingSoon and Brazilian magazine Quem also published photographs from the outing, including the pair holding each other in the Mediterranean. The evidence of affection is increasingly visible. The official relationship label, however, remains absent.
Are Bloom and Laemmel officially dating?
Bloom and Laemmel have not publicly described one another as partners or made any statement confirming a romance. Reports have nevertheless connected them since February 8, when TMZ photographed them leaving the Super Bowl arm-in-arm.
At the time, TMZ explicitly noted that neither had confirmed they were together. The South China Morning Post was still referring to Laemmel as Bloom's rumored partner in late June, despite several sightings in the months between.
Those appearances have become steadily less ambiguous. TMZ reported that Bloom spent time with Laemmel during Met Gala festivities in May, countering speculation that he was dating influencer Meredith Duxbury. Vanity Fair Italia later reported that Bloom and Laemmel attended Milan Men's Fashion Week together in June.
An unnamed eyewitness quoted by Swiss outlet Nau.ch described the pair as “sweet and very affectionate.” Another source told the publication that they remain in contact despite Bloom living in Los Angeles and Laemmel being based in New York. Public affection may be doing most of the announcing here, but the two people involved have declined to provide a caption.

Corriere Fiorentino has reported that seasonal tents at the property can cost €16,000. The club was also named Italy's best beach club for a second consecutive year. In other words, this was not an improvised afternoon with a towel and a crowded patch of sand.
The private setting gave Bloom and Laemmel space to swim, joke and relax together, though photographers still captured the outing. Their coordinated swimwear and easy physical affection reinforced what recent appearances have suggested, even if neither has chosen to define it publicly.
Bloom has kept his personal life measured
The Italian trip comes after the end of Bloom's engagement to singer Katy Perry. Speaking about their relationship after the split on NBC's Today, Bloom said there was “nothing but love” between them.
That measured tone also fits the way he and Laemmel have handled the attention around their reported romance. They have neither denied it nor confirmed it, while continuing to appear together in settings that are difficult to dismiss as chance encounters.
