Bunnie XO’s age-gap romance with reality star Dylan Wolf has attracted a fresh round of criticism after she posted a video of their visit to Waffle House. The 46-year-old podcaster responded that Wolf, 24, had “given me my smile back,” although neither has clearly confirmed that they are officially a couple.
The video arrived four months after country singer Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie, ending a marriage that lasted nearly a decade. Apparently, the internet requires a formal review whenever a newly single woman eats breakfast with a younger man.
Why did the Waffle House video cause a backlash?
Bunnie posted the TikTok on September 21, showing herself and Wolf sitting together in a booth during what she described as his first Waffle House meal.
Some commenters focused less on the food and more on the pair’s 22-year age difference. One told Bunnie that she needed “a man not a boy,” while another joked that Wolf had only recently received his driving licence and permission to stay out until 11pm.
A third commenter argued that the standard should remain consistent regardless of gender: “I’m all for the girlies, but this is a creepy age gap for men, so it’s creepy this way too.”
Bunnie did not offer a detailed defence or announce a relationship. Instead, she replied: “Hey guys, I’m having fun & he gave me my smile back.”
She added in another response: “Ya girl is living her best life, let meeeee k thanks byeeeee.” Not exactly a sworn declaration of commitment, but clear enough on her interest in public approval.

Reports have described Bunnie and Wolf as a couple, but their own comments leave more room for interpretation.
Dating speculation began over the Fourth of July weekend, when Bunnie was seen kissing Wolf at Goodnight Nashville, the bar associated with Jelly Roll. Wolf appears in the Netflix reality series Calabasas Confidential.
On the July 10 episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie said she was not looking for another relationship.
“I don’t want to date anyone,” she said. “I am here for fun, baby. I am having fun. I learned a lot of lessons this week. I’m gonna take it on the chin, because I did this and I take full accountability for it. That’s all it was.”
Wolf was similarly noncommittal when TMZ asked him about the kiss. He called Bunnie a friend, said they were having fun and added: “Sometimes a cowboy wants to hunt cougars.” Subtlety did not attend that interview.
He also said he loved both Bunnie and Jelly Roll, adding that the former couple had “a lot going on.” Bunnie later said Jelly understood the situation and was not troubled by the kiss, according to E! News.
The September video suggests that Bunnie and Wolf remain close. It does not, by itself, settle whether this is a casual post-divorce relationship or something more formal.
What happened in the Jelly Roll divorce?
Court records reported by TMZ and ABC News show that Jelly Roll filed for divorce on May 18, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing listed May 9 as the date of separation.
Although early coverage suggested the split had already been completed in May, TMZ reported that the divorce was finalized in July. The settlement included a confidential lump-sum payment and no claims for alimony.
The former couple also divided substantial shared assets, including:

- An aircraft
- Intellectual property
- Other financial interests covered by the confidential agreement
Their settlement reportedly contains a non-disparagement clause. That may help explain why both have spoken warmly about each other rather than turning the divorce into a public competition in personal destruction.
During a concert after the split, Jelly Roll told the audience that Bunnie remained his best friend and might be the only woman he would ever love. Bunnie said on her podcast in June that he had started dating again and that she was happy for him.
