Williams was also expected to handle small purchases, tell Wayne about all purchases, travel with him, pack his bags for trips, and generally make sure the rapper’s schedule and daily routine ran smoothly.

The documents describe a job built around constant access and quick responses. Williams was required to be reachable by phone at all hours, and his phone had to stay charged. The job also involved running errands and being comfortable around children and dogs.

Other listed expectations sounded more like standard workplace language, even if the setting clearly was not standard. The assistant was supposed to be:

able to work under pressure

strong enough to carry a bag
someone with “pleasant personal hygiene”

Wayne’s team also noted that the assistant “must keep up with fast-paced lifestyle without engaging personally.” In other words, move quickly, know everything, say little, and do not confuse proximity with participation.

The unusual list is not surfacing because someone found an old hiring packet in a drawer. It is being used as evidence in the court battle between Williams and Lil Wayne.

Williams is suing the rapper over an alleged incident on a private jet in 2022. He claims Wayne assaulted him after Williams tried to intervene in a fight involving the rapper and the pilot.

Lil Wayne has denied all allegations of wrongdoing. He has also argued that any actions he took were in self-defense.

For now, the larger legal fight remains unresolved. The documents do not settle the assault allegations or Wayne’s self-defense claim. They do, however, show that working close to a superstar can involve a lot more than calendars and coffee runs, especially when the calendar never really ends.
