GTA 6 Soundtrack Teased by Major Artists

EntertainmentGTA 6 Soundtrack Teased by Major Artists

The GTA 6 soundtrack is becoming a little less mysterious after Travis Scott, Fred Again and several other musicians shared new game artwork on Instagram. The posts appear to be part of a coordinated promotional campaign, although Rockstar Games has not yet explained precisely what each artist is doing in the game.

That distinction matters. Music is the obvious answer, but Grand Theft Auto has previously found more elaborate uses for famous performers. For now, the artwork confirms some form of involvement and gives fans several new images to inspect with unreasonable seriousness.

Which artists have posted GTA 6 artwork?

At the time of publication, 10 artists had shared GTA 6 material on Instagram. The musicians named in the campaign so far include:

  • Travis Scott
  • Morgan Wallen
  • Ca7riel & Paco
  • PinkPantheress
  • Fred Again
  • Keith Richards

Travis Scott, who also appeared on the GTA 5 soundtrack, posted an image showing a woman’s feet in high heels. American country-pop singer Morgan Wallen received a picture of steps inside an empty swimming pool, while Argentinian duo Ca7riel & Paco shared an awkwardly framed yacht. Promotional glamour has apparently been allocated on a strict lottery system.

Most of the artists involved belong to a younger generation, including British musicians PinkPantheress and Fred Again. The notable exception is Keith Richards, guitarist for The Rolling Stones, whose presence gives the campaign a considerably longer musical timeline.

The posts do not directly say that these artists have songs on the radio stations. They could instead appear as presenters, guests or even characters, although licensed tracks remain the most likely explanation.

Why music matters so much in Grand Theft Auto

Radio has been part of every Grand Theft Auto game, helping turn long drives, police chases and less lawful errands into something with a soundtrack. From 1999’s GTA 2 onward, the series increasingly relied on licensed music alongside fictional adverts, talk shows and the usual parade of deeply questionable callers.

By GTA 5, the stations featured major performers including Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John and Queen. The selection was not merely background noise. Different stations helped define Los Santos and gave players a reason to remain in stolen cars for slightly longer than necessary.

Rockstar has also used musicians for more than their recordings. Snoop Dogg has appeared as a radio guest in previous games, while Phil Collins became an in-game character in 2006’s GTA: Vice City Stories. The new social media campaign therefore leaves room for cameos, hosting roles or other appearances beyond a conventional playlist.

Which GTA 6 songs are already confirmed?

Several tracks have already been heard in official trailers and promotional footage. The second trailer used The Pointer Sisters’ Hot Together, while an extended preview included music from artists such as Cliff Richard and Kodak Black.

The confirmed songs heard so far are:

  • Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters
  • Love Is a Long Road by Tom Petty
  • Pop Bottles by Birdman and Lil Wayne
  • Pound Town by Sexyy Red and Tay Keith
  • Skrilla by Kodak Black
  • Let Your Love Flow by The Bellamy Brothers
  • Love Bites by Def Leppard
  • People Are People by Depeche Mode
  • But I Think It’s a Dream by Captain & Tennille
  • Cars and Girls by Prefab Sprout
  • Off the Grid by Chk Chk Chk (!!!), featuring Meah Pace
  • Devil Woman by Cliff Richard
  • Se Me Nota (Agárrame), produced by B-One, by Chimbala and Omega
  • Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now) by Phil Collins
  • Mine O’ Mine by Aluna and Jayda G
  • Inner Light by Elderbrook and Bob Moses

Rockstar has not confirmed whether every artist sharing artwork will contribute a song, nor whether the tracks heard in trailers represent the final in-game radio selection. Trailer music often signals the intended mood, but it does not always guarantee a place on the finished playlist.

What else has been confirmed about GTA 6?

The music teasers follow the first public confirmation of a voice actor. Stephen Root, known for Widow’s Bay, recently revealed that he plays Brian Heder in GTA 6. He is the first cast member to confirm his role officially.

Many details about the game remain under wraps despite multiple trailers. Rockstar has shown its central characters, setting and broad criminal premise, but the full cast, radio lineup and station structure have yet to be announced.

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. That leaves Rockstar a little over two months to explain whether Keith Richards is supplying a song, hosting a station or simply standing near an unusually photogenic swimming pool.
