Celebrity fitness updates tend to arrive with a familiar rhythm: a public appearance, a sharper suit, and then the internet starts doing the visual math. This week, the subject is DJ Khaled weight loss, after the producer stepped out in New York City looking noticeably slimmer while promoting his latest brand collaboration.

Where DJ Khaled showed his transformation

DJ Khaled looked noticeably slimmer Thursday night in New York City at the MCM x DJ Khaled We The Best launch party, pairing the change with his usual high-gloss style. The event doubled as a fashion moment and, perhaps unintentionally, a progress report.

Khaled has been public about trying to slim down since the start of the year. By February, he was already talking about a routine built around golf and a much higher daily step count, because apparently the road to reinvention now includes fairways and a lot of walking.

What he said about his routine

Khaled previously explained that his goal was to keep moving consistently, aiming for between 10,000 and 15,000 steps a day. He said he had often been pushing beyond that.

“I’m about to show up to greatness ... and once you show up, you gotta put in that work. It’s 10-15,000 steps a day, just like I said. I’ve been doing 15-20 a day, but as long as you get to 10-15, you’re starting off your day incredibly. And everything after that is a bonus. Remember that!”

The new photos suggest the routine is working. For now, Khaled’s latest rollout is not just about MCM, We The Best branding, or another carefully staged celebrity entrance. It is also a very visible reminder that boring consistency, annoyingly enough, still works.
