Travis Barker in hospital was not the update fans expected this week, but the Blink-182 drummer shared two photos showing that he had company. His wife, Kourtney Kardashian, and daughter Alabama Barker both stayed by his side during the unexplained visit.

Barker did not reveal why he needed hospital care. In the images posted to his Instagram Story on October 6, the 50-year-old musician wore a hospital gown and surgical cap while lying in bed. The posts supplied plenty of affection, though medical details were apparently not included in the family package.

In the first photo, 20-year-old Alabama sat in a chair beside her father’s bed. Barker captioned it, “My baby girl came with me.”

A second image showed Kardashian kissing him while a blood pressure cuff remained wrapped around his arm. Alongside a black heart, Barker wrote, “And my beautiful wife by my side.”

Kardashian, 47, reposted the photo to her own Instagram Story but offered no explanation for the visit. Neither she nor Barker said whether he underwent a procedure, received treatment or was simply being monitored.

The length of his stay was also unclear. His next Story appeared to have been filmed at home and showed the couple’s 2-year-old son, Rocky Barker, walking around in a dinosaur costume as the Jurassic Park theme played. Whatever happened, the social media schedule returned quickly to standard toddler programming.

“I was touring, I was actually in Europe,” he recalled. “She says, ‘Trav, I went to my doctor and the baby’s lungs are filling with fluid.’”

Kardashian described the experience as “terrifying” and said Barker immediately left the tour to support her.

“He canceled four shows,” she said, “and he just came and laid with me in the hospital and made sure that everything was OK.”
