She also appeared in the 2023 music video for “Stuck” by Leto’s band, Thirty Seconds to Mars. More recently, Just Jared reported that the couple had been photographed vacationing in Aspen in December 2025. The LAX pictures therefore appear to confirm that the relationship has continued, rather than marking some carefully timed new introduction.
What does the BBC documentary allege?
The BBC released Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret on July 29 after an 18-month investigation that included two reporting trips to Los Angeles. The documentary features 10 women, nine of whom were speaking publicly about their claims for the first time, according to reports from ABC News, the Associated Press, CBS News and the Los Angeles Times.
Several women accused Leto of sexual assault or other sexual misconduct. Four alleged that incidents took place between 2002 and 2016, when they were underage. Some accounts involved encounters in hotel rooms, while one woman alleged that she received explicit phone calls from the Suicide Squad actor.
The claims did not begin with the documentary. In June 2025, an Air Mail investigation reported allegations of sexual impropriety from nine women.
Leto has denied all wrongdoing. In a statement reported by ABC News, he said: “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life.” He also called the allegations “absolutely and categorically false.” ABC News said it had not independently verified the women’s claims.
Is Jared Leto under criminal investigation?
Despite the continuing media investigation, TMZ reported that sources at the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said there were no open criminal investigations involving Leto. The outlet also reported that prosecutors had previously reviewed one case and declined to bring charges.
That distinction matters. A lack of an active criminal case does not prove or disprove allegations, just as a documentary is not a court proceeding. It does, however, show the gap between the expanding journalistic record and the current response from Los Angeles law enforcement.
BBC producer Jessica Sartenaer told the Los Angeles Times that “the investigation is ongoing.” She said the filmmakers hoped the participants’ decision to speak would encourage others to come forward. Director Alice McShane added that interviewees remained in control of their involvement and were not pressured to participate.
Have the allegations affected Leto’s career?
The professional consequences remain less clear than the headlines. The Daily Beast, citing Page Six, reported that Leto was no longer under consideration for Barry Levinson’s political thriller Assassination. One source also pointed to the box-office performance of Tron: Ares as a factor, making the precise reason for the reported decision somewhat less tidy.
TMZ reported that William Morris Endeavor continued to represent Leto after the documentary’s release. Separately, Business Insider said he had been seeking $75 million for a venture-capital fund before renewed scrutiny brought by the BBC investigation.
For now, the institutional picture is mixed: Leto still has agency representation, no active Los Angeles criminal investigation has been reported, and the BBC says its work continues. His return to LAX with Thinn confirms that he is back in public view. It does not settle anything beyond that.
