Elliot Page Red Carpet Return For Odyssey

Elliot Page red carpet appearances are usually clean and low-fuss, and his latest one kept to that script. Days after sharing a shirtless training photo that drew attention to his physical transformation, Page stepped out in London on July 6 for the premiere of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

The 39-year-old actor wore a mustard-brown suit with a blue-and-gold tie, styled by Britt Theodora. The look was polished without begging for a separate press conference, which is increasingly rare at major premieres.

What did Elliot Page wear at the London premiere?

Page wore a classic red carpet suit in a warmer palette than the usual black-on-black. Britt Theodora, whose client list also includes Pete Davidson and Heidi Gardner, styled the actor for the event.

He attended without his partner, Julia Shiplett of Overcompensating. Still, he had plenty of company at a premiere built around one of Hollywood’s most stacked upcoming releases.

Page was photographed alongside Anne Hathaway, who wore a flowing gown with floral appliqués that highlighted her baby bump. Zendaya also made a major fashion statement at the event, wearing two couture looks for the occasion.

Why is Page’s transformation part of the conversation?

The timing of the appearance made the chatter fairly predictable. On June 29, Page posted a shirtless Instagram selfie while thanking his boxing coach, Nolan Hanson, and fans quickly noticed his noticeably defined physique.

In the post, Page praised Hanson’s work beyond the usual celebrity-trainer compliments.

“He’s a brilliant teacher,” Page wrote, adding that Hanson stands out “not just in the way he breaks down complex movements, but also in his strategic understanding of boxing and his thoughtful approach to the psychological side of the sport.”

Page, a GLAAD Media Award winner, described the training as “an essential part of my life” and joked that others “may end up getting as hooked as I am.”

Who does Page play in The Odyssey?

In Nolan’s film, Page is reported to play Sinon, a Trojan War soldier and the right-hand man of Odysseus, played by Matt Damon. The role puts him inside a large-scale adaptation of the ancient Greek epic, with Damon leading the cast as the famously long-suffering hero.

The film also features Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway and Zendaya, among others. With that lineup, the London premiere was always going to be less “quiet industry screening” and more “everyone clear your camera roll.”

For Page, the appearance brought two parts of the moment together: the public-facing glamour of a major Christopher Nolan release and the private discipline behind a physical change he has been unusually open about. The suit did its job. The training story gave it context.
