The Belgrave Villa breakup is now official, after weeks of silence that had followers doing the usual internet detective work, only this time with a Victorian house involved.
Milly and Louis, the YouTubers behind Belgrave Villa, have confirmed they have ended their relationship after taking a step back from social media. The couple built a large audience by documenting their attempt to renovate an abandoned Victorian villa in Swansea, Wales, mixing plaster dust, relationship updates, and day-to-day life into one very watchable project.
Why followers noticed something had changed
Over the last two years, Milly and Louis turned Belgrave Villa into a major renovation account across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Their audience is not exactly small:

The pair bought the Swansea property for £410,000 in 2024 and brought viewers along as they worked through the renovation. Recently, though, the account went quiet. Their Instagram had been inactive for about a month, and they had not uploaded a YouTube video in two weeks. Louis had also been absent from videos for longer than that, which, naturally, people noticed.

Milly confirms she and Louis have split
On June 21, Milly addressed the speculation and confirmed that she and Louis had broken up. She explained that Louis had gone to Australia in March without her, travelling with friends, and that the time apart was part of the reason fans had noticed his absence.
“I really, really haven’t been holding back on giving you an update for any reason other than I didn’t know what that update was going to be. Unfortunately, Louis and I have split up,” Milly said.
She also pushed back on the idea that followers had been misled about what was happening.
“At no point have we been dishonest, when I said Louis had gone to Australia, he had gone to Australia. He went travelling with friends and we just needed that space before we moved forward with figuring out who was keeping what, who was doing what, so yeah, its taken a long time to get an update,” she said.
What happens to the Belgrave Villa renovation now
Milly said she would like to keep working on the renovation, but made clear that the practical side of the split is complicated. The house is not just a backdrop for content. It is a major shared investment, and the couple still has to work out who keeps it and what happens next.
She said the project “is not easy,” which seems fair, given that ending a relationship is hard enough before adding a large unfinished Victorian villa to the admin pile.
For viewers, the uncertainty matters because Belgrave Villa has become more than a renovation series. The audience followed the project because of the house, but also because of the couple trying to build a life inside it. That personal stake is now changing, even if the property itself may remain part of Milly’s content.
