The Oasis Live ’27 tour has sold out all 42 shows after three days of ticket windows, prompting the band to warn disappointed fans against fake social media offers and questionable resale listings. Demand was enormous, the buying process was described as “brutal,” and the internet has already produced tickets costing close to £1,000. Efficiency comes in many forms.

Fans who registered in advance received non-transferable codes and assigned sales windows over the weekend. The system was intended to limit website traffic and shorten queues, although plenty of people still missed out on codes or complained about ticket prices.

Oasis confirmed on Sunday, 27 September, that no tickets remained.

Where will Oasis play in 2027?

Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher will begin the tour in Glasgow in May 2027. The itinerary then takes the Manchester band through major European and North American venues before ending at Knebworth in September.

The announced locations include:

  • Glasgow
  • Manchester
  • Munich
  • Barcelona
  • Amsterdam
  • Paris
  • Rome
  • Boston
  • Las Vegas
  • Slane Castle
  • Knebworth

Liam announced the sellout on X with his usual measured approach to public communication.

“That’s all folks we have officially sold out no more tickets left congratulations to everyone who got a ticket and to the people who didn’t sneak in f-k it yolo LG x,” he wrote.

The advice to “sneak in” was plainly a joke. The band’s official message was rather less relaxed, particularly because fraudulent listings tend to appear whenever millions of people want a limited number of tickets.

What warning has Oasis issued to fans?

Oasis said every ticket had been sold during three days of scheduled sales and urged anyone still searching to avoid offers posted on social media.

“Fans are now reminded to remain vigilant and avoid scams selling tickets on social media,” the statement said. “These tickets will be fake and invalid.”

The band also warned that tickets listed on secondary resale websites could be cancelled. Fans wanting to buy legitimate resold seats should use the approved platforms, Ticketmaster and Twickets, where tickets can only be offered for the amount originally paid.

That restriction has not stopped expensive listings from appearing elsewhere. Tickets were found on Viagogo at prices approaching £1,000, despite the band’s instructions and the risk that unofficially resold tickets may not remain valid.

Oasis had already issued a scam warning in the week before tickets went on sale, anticipating the predictable rush of fake accounts, invented tickets and sellers suddenly blessed with several spare seats.

Why were Oasis ticket prices controversial before?

The latest sale arrived under the shadow of the band’s troubled 2025 ticket launch. During that sale, many fans believed Ticketmaster had used dynamic pricing, with prices appearing to rise sharply as demand increased.

Some buyers reported that standard tickets originally advertised at about £148 cost £355 by the time they reached the front of the online queue. Oasis later said the band had not known dynamic pricing would be used.

Ticketmaster said the process actually relied on pre-set pricing tiers. Cheaper allocations sold first, leaving more expensive fixed-price tickets available later. That distinction mattered technically, but it offered limited comfort to fans who had spent hours waiting only to find that the affordable options had vanished.

The backlash prompted the UK government to promise scrutiny of the system. The Competition and Markets Authority investigated and concluded that Ticketmaster may have misled Oasis fans through unclear pricing information.

What changed for the 2027 ticket sale?

Following the Competition and Markets Authority investigation, Ticketmaster was required to make its pricing clearer. The company must now provide more information while customers wait in online queues and label ticket categories accurately, rather than implying one option is superior when it is not.

Customers must also receive at least 24 hours’ notice when a tiered pricing structure will be used.

For the 2027 dates, standard ticket prices were fixed in advance, and organisers confirmed that the disputed pricing model from the earlier sale would not return. That removed one source of confusion, though it could not create enough seats for everyone who wanted one.

With the entire run now sold out, official resale platforms remain the only approved route for fans still hoping to attend. Any offer arriving through an unsolicited social media message should be treated with suspicion, especially if the seller claims urgency, demands an unusual payment method or refuses to use Ticketmaster or Twickets.
