Hudson Williams’ girlfriend, Vancouver tattoo artist Katelyn Larson, has asked Heated Rivalry fans to stop bringing their curiosity about the actor into her workplace. Interest in a television star is one thing. Booking a tattoo appointment as an informal intelligence-gathering exercise is apparently another.
Why did Katelyn Larson address fans?
In a September 22 Instagram Story, Larson said some fans had recently “crossed some boundaries” after discovering the studio where she works.
“Obviously a lot of you have found the studio because of a certain show and that's more than okay,” she wrote. “This is where I draw a very hard line: booking an appointment with me or anyone else purely because of the connection to the show crosses a huge territory.”
Larson said customers had also questioned her colleagues about her and Williams during appointments.
“Showing up to your appointment and asking my coworkers any sort of questions about myself or about Hudson is hugely uncomfortable for everyone,” she added.
She asked anyone planning to visit the studio solely because of Williams to “please stop.” However, Larson stressed that genuine clients should not feel discouraged. Fans who follow her or the studio’s other artists because they like their work and want a tattoo remain welcome.
“Please go right ahead,” she wrote. “Don't ever feel weird about that.”
How long have Hudson Williams and Katelyn Larson dated?
Larson and Williams began dating years before Heated Rivalry premiered in 2025. The series rapidly raised the profiles of Williams and his costar Connor Storrie, but the 25-year-old actor has mostly kept his relationship away from the resulting attention.
Williams described the abrupt change in his life during a December interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“Everything, all my expectations, have been f--king put through the wringer and tested and just shat on from crazy heights,” he said. “So now I just take whatever this little zeitgeist, this little sensation gives me, and I try and just stay calm through it all.”
That restraint appears especially important because Larson has little interest in becoming a public figure by association. Williams told ETalk Canada in March that she was not seeking attention.
“She's not trying to be out there or be perceived,” he said, quoting her frequent response: “I don't want to be perceived!”
The couple nevertheless made their first red carpet appearance together six months before Larson’s statement. They later attended the Canadian Screen Awards with Williams’ parents.
Williams has shared occasional public tributes
Williams formally revealed the relationship on Instagram in February, offering followers a clearer look at a romance that had already existed for years. He has since posted about Larson occasionally, including a notably affectionate birthday message on August 22.
“My darling you were eternalized when you ran to that sunset up that red dirt road,” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “I’ve loved people deeply for a day, for a week and some for years but I’ll love her until I die.”
He continued: “Not because I’m supposed to, or because that’s how I was raised, but because every time she smiles I see the little girl whose joy is so unpolluted.”
Larson’s latest message did not ask fans to ignore her work or avoid the tattoo studio. It asked them to behave like clients rather than investigators and to leave her coworkers out of questions about her private life. A modest request, even by the unusually complicated standards of sudden television fame.
