Diamond Brown has accused former partner Chris Brown of threatening men she dated and frightening her during an increasingly bitter custody and child support dispute. The Chris Brown threats allegations appear in court documents in which Diamond describes the singer’s conduct as “disturbing behavior.” He denies harassing her.

Diamond said their relationship ended about two years ago. Although Chris has since entered another relationship and had another child, she claims he becomes “extremely angry” whenever she dates someone new. Apparently, moving on is acceptable only as a solo arrangement.

What does Diamond Brown allege happened?

According to the filing, Diamond claims Chris made death threats against her most recent boyfriend and continued threatening both the man and his twin brother. She also said she understood that third parties had issued threats on Chris’s behalf.

Diamond alleged that a similar pattern affected another relationship she began roughly two years ago, after her split from the singer.

“Both of these relationships broke up because of Chris’s harassment,” she wrote. “I should not be left to be scared to move on with my life because of Chris’s anger and resentment.”

She further claimed that Chris recently became angry with her at a birthday party in front of their daughter, Lovely. Diamond described the incident as harmful and “especially inappropriate.” She also accused him of trying to harass her through social media.

“Christopher’s behavior has been harassing, disturbing my peace and feels extremely frightening,” Diamond wrote, while declining to provide further details in the filing.

Is Diamond seeking a restraining order?

Despite referring to a possible domestic violence restraining order, Diamond is not currently asking the court to grant one.

She said she had tried to avoid taking that step and had instead asked Chris’s lawyer, through her own attorney, to make the alleged conduct stop. Those requests began in March, according to her filing, but she claims Chris has not addressed the issue.

Diamond said she had taken no formal action so far because she hoped Chris would agree to end what she called “scary behavior.” She added: “I feel that I have been living under siege and would appreciate the right to peaceful enjoyment of my life.”

Chris denies the accusations. In an alleged email from his lawyer to Diamond’s legal team, the attorney said Chris rejected the claims and accused Diamond of making inappropriate social media posts.

“Chris denies this and in fact I continue to see your client posting things that are inappropriate,” the email said. His lawyer asked for specific examples so he could understand and address the issue “if this is really happening.”

What is the dispute over child support?

The harassment accusations form part of a broader fight over custody and financial support for Lovely. Diamond sued Chris in May 2026, seeking child support and primary custody. Chris opposed her custody request.

Diamond claims she earns about $1,500 per month and believes Chris has a net worth of approximately $50 million. She argues that he has refused to provide enough support to cover their daughter’s needs.

Her filing also accuses the singer of withholding financial records needed to calculate an appropriate monthly payment. Diamond said Chris has “stalled all discovery attempts” and tried to exhaust her financial resources through the legal process.

She stressed that she is not asking to share Chris’s lifestyle. Instead, she said she wants “basic adequacy to meet the child’s needs.”

To support her argument about his spending, Diamond pointed to two vehicles she says Chris purchased for the mothers of his other children:

  • A pink Porsche for the mother of his youngest son
  • A black Cadillac Escalade for the mother of his first daughter

Diamond said both gifts appeared on Instagram. Social media, once again, has found itself promoted from publicity tool to potential court exhibit.

What does Diamond say about Chris as a father?

Diamond acknowledged that Chris’s work frequently takes him out of town. However, she claimed that during the previous six to seven months, he had not asked once to see Lovely.

That allegation adds another point of conflict to a case already covering custody, support, financial disclosure and alleged intimidation. The court will have to separate the claims from the evidence, a task made no simpler by hostile messages and Instagram posts.

Chris Brown’s legal team was contacted for further comment but had not responded. His denial of Diamond’s harassment claims remains the only response included in the reported court materials.
