The event was hosted by Stefon’s Diggs Deep Foundation, and Cardi also seemed to be enjoying the soundtrack. In the video, she could be seen singing along to Monaleo’s “Putting Ya Dine.”
Why their appearance is getting attention
Cardi, whose full name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, and Stefon were first romantically linked in February 2025. Neither has publicly confirmed exactly where things stand between them.
That silence has left room for plenty of guessing, especially after earlier speculation that they had gone their separate ways. Their appearance together ahead of Mother’s Day, and in support of Stefon’s own foundation, gave fans a rare public glimpse of the two as a couple, or at least as two people very comfortable standing close in front of cameras.
The timing also matters. This marks their first Mother’s Day season since the birth of their son in November, adding a personal layer to what was already a family-focused event.
Stefon recently supported Cardi on tour
The May 9 event was not the first recent sighting that put the two back in the same conversation.
On April 8, Stefon attended Cardi’s Little Miss Drama tour stop at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. In videos shared online, he was seen dancing with his mother, Stefanie Diggs, while Cardi performed on stage.
After the concert, Stefon and Cardi were also seen leaving the rapper’s sold-out afterparty at Throw Social, according to videos circulating online.
Cardi previously defended him onstage
Cardi has also made clear that, whatever the private details of their relationship may be, she was not interested in seeing Stefon dragged into rap beef.
During a February concert, Cardi publicly called out rival rapper Bia after Bia made a comment about Stefon having six children with six different women.
“Just because I ain’t f--king with my baby daddy,” Cardi said onstage, according to videos shared on social media, “doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy!”
Cardi is also mother to Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 20 months, with her ex Offset.
For now, Cardi and Stefon are still keeping the official label private. But their latest appearance made one thing clear enough: the two are comfortable being seen together, and on Mother’s Day weekend, that was always going to get noticed.
