The latest Anthony Edwards income figure came from family court filings, not a sneaker ad, a contract graphic, or an NBA salary breakdown. Because apparently even seven-figure monthly earnings can end up as paperwork.
New legal documents obtained by TMZ say the Minnesota Timberwolves star lists $3,364,911 in gross monthly income. His ex, Alexandria Desroches, is listed in the documents as earning about $1,016 per month.
What the court documents say
According to the filings, Edwards is paying roughly $12,500 per month in child support to Desroches.
Edwards and Desroches share a child who was born in October 2023. The documents are part of an ongoing child support dispute between the two.
The reported income figure lands in the same universe as Edwards’ NBA contract. In 2023, he signed a five-year deal worth up to $260 million, a maximum extension that made his finances a matter of both sports business coverage and, now, court record.
Edwards is facing more than one family court case
Media previously reported that Edwards is currently involved in court battles with two different women over child support.
Alongside the case involving Desroches, Edwards is also in a separate child support dispute with another ex, Ayesha Howard.
For a Timberwolves star whose profile has been rising fast, the filings are a reminder that NBA stardom comes with a very public paper trail. The numbers are large. The legal process, as usual, is less glamorous.
