The five women stood beside the yacht’s railing in coordinated pale looks. Schumer wore a strapless corset-style top with shorts, while Aniston chose a simple white dress. Cox paired a floor-length white linen skirt with a beige shirt.
Aniston wrapped her arms around Schumer and Cox as the group smiled for the camera. Schumer kept the caption simple, posting a row of yellow heart emojis.
The yacht’s owner and location were not disclosed, and the two other companions have not been publicly identified. No credible reporting has independently established those details, despite the internet’s traditional enthusiasm for inspecting celebrity boats.
The gathering extends a long Hollywood friendship
The photograph drew attention partly because Aniston and Cox remain one of Hollywood’s most durable friendships. The pair became close while making Friends, which ran from 1994 to 2004, and their relationship continued well beyond the series.
Aniston is godmother to Cox’s daughter, Coco Arquette. She also joined Lisa Kudrow in supporting Cox when the actor received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023, according to CBS News.
Schumer’s appearance with the pair widens that familiar post-Friends social circle. Rather than presenting the outing as a major celebrity event, her understated caption made it look like what it apparently was: friends enjoying a day together, only with significantly more deck space than most group plans provide.
The Aug. 3 image was Schumer’s third public look at the sunny getaway. Earlier posts included bikini photographs that she labeled “no filter.” TMZ and Parade also reported on the vacation images, including a July photograph in which her C-section scar was visible.
That detail matters because Schumer has often spoken plainly about her body and health, even when public discussion has been less thoughtful.
Schumer’s recent health story goes beyond weight loss
Coverage of Schumer’s vacation photographs has frequently centered on her reported weight loss, but her recent physical changes followed a complicated medical period.
In February 2024, Schumer revealed that she had been diagnosed with Cushing syndrome. She said the condition was linked to steroid injections she received after medical procedures. The syndrome can cause facial swelling, sometimes called “moon face,” a symptom Schumer later said had subsided.
ABC News reported in March 2025 that Schumer had changed weight-loss medications after a difficult earlier experience. She later said she had lost about 50 pounds and used Mounjaro.
The broader context makes her vacation posts less useful as a simple before-and-after spectacle. Schumer has described dealing with a rare diagnosis while her appearance was being publicly analyzed, then speaking openly about the treatment behind later changes. Her recent photographs appear to emphasize feeling comfortable and capable rather than offering strangers a medical chart disguised as beach content.
Her personal life has also shifted. On Dec. 12, 2025, Schumer announced that she and chef Chris Fischer were separating after seven years of marriage. She said they “love each other very much” and would remain focused on raising their son, Gene, who was born on May 5, 2019.
Scuba training gave the trip a deeper purpose
Alongside the yacht and bikini photographs, Schumer documented completing scuba training with her friend Lorraine. In a July 23 post, she said they had taken the Professional Association of Diving Instructors test, trained and completed a dive.
“Scuba diving? I think yes,” she wrote. “We took the PADI test and trained and dove I am so proud of myself and my homie Lorraine.”
The accompanying photos and videos showed the pair preparing with instructors, posing in the water and exploring the sea floor. Schumer photographed orange starfish and swam through schools of small fish. She jokingly captioned another carousel, “I’m so wet.”
Although the footage showed her moving calmly underwater, Schumer stressed that the experience required preparation. She called it a “dream come true” and wrote, “I feel braver and more grounded than ever.” She said the training reminded her to stay calm, breathe and remain present, adding, “We are all more capable than we think.”
Schumer also connected the achievement to Gene. “Can’t wait to go with my little boy someday,” she wrote. “So cool to show him what his mom can do with some hard work and practice.”
That makes the yacht photograph a lighter final note in a more personal series of updates. The trip brought together old and newer friendships, but its clearest emotional thread came from Schumer herself: after health problems and a public separation, she wanted to show her son, and perhaps herself, what practice could make possible.
